Erin gets really uncomfortable during her last week of pregnancy. She gets anxious because she is always worried about how the birth experience will be. Be sure to read our recap from Carson's birth and Brooklyn's birth.
Erin heads to the nail salon with her sisters (Tori, Carlin, Katie and Whitney) to relax before the big event. Chad arrives at the nail salon to visit the girls. He loves to learn about the progress and the comfy chairs.
Kelly and Erin head to Norris Dam with Carson and Brooklyn. They are hoping to jump start labor for her. Kelly is looking forward to having another grandbaby so soon after Zoey Joy's arrival.
Around 9pm, Erin started to have strong contractions and gets nervous. Carlin heads Chad and Erin's house to film the birth. Carlin is excited to be part of the birth and leave for the hospital about fourty minutes later. While in route to the hospital, the labor starts to pick up, Chad knows that they are going to be in trouble when Erin gets into a kneeling position. Erin wants her husband to run the red light however Chad doesn't want to. He ends up speeding down the highway and his wife tells him to slow down. They finally get to the hospital and Erin is relieved. Gil, Kelly, Michaella and Katie arrive to the hospital room but no one can get a hold of Tori who wanted to be at the birth. Katie even tried to pound on the front door but no one answer the door.
Around three thirty in the morning, Gil notices that it could be time to push. The nurses come in however Dr. Vic has stepped away but returns in time. Everly Hope has arrived and Chad reveals there is no words to describe when you see the baby. There are tears of joys. Gil returns to the room and joins in. Katie has ended up falling asleep during the birth.
Gil reveals that it has been the best adventure of their life in the past three days. They have welcomed two new granddaughters into the world. Both Alyssa and Erin are healthy. The couple is looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do next.
Carson and Brooklyn arrive at the hospital to meet their new baby sister. Brooklyn calls her a baby doll. The rest of the family arrives to hold the new baby girl. Erin reveals that this makes her want to have a fourth child however Chad's face says no. He jokes that they are done interviewing and gets up. We will have to wait and see about Baby Paine #4.
Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.
