With the countdown to Alyssa's due date on the way, Kelly heads down to Florida. Alyssa has been having steady contractions all week long. Kelly decides to take Alyssa to get her nails done. Alyssa reveal that her mother takes a lot of stress off of her.
Alyssa asks for some advice about surviving with three children. Kelly says that she had to remind herself of all the blessings that she had and had to laugh at the silly things and not stressed over.
The next morning, Kelly receives a call that Zoey is here. John reveals that whenever Alyssa has said that she is going into labor, he says that they needs to go. He doesn't want to risk having the baby at home. Alyssa adds that her husband would freak out if the baby at home.
Within ninety minutes, Alyssa has the baby at the birthing center and invites her mother just before getting released to go home. Kelly says that she has held a lot of babies but it puts her in tears when she sees the baby and it's healthy. She says that it's new and fresh and wonderful and special.
The couple heads home to introduce Zoey to Allie and Lexi. Allie is happy to meet her baby sister. Gil arrives to meet his newest grandchild (there is still one more on the way) and video chat with the other kids at home. Gil and Kelly head to enjoy a takeout steak dinner with the new parents.
Lawson and Trace head to Indiana to take participate in the rodeo with Shadow Montag. The boys enjoy showing off during practice. Gil reveals that it's normal for them to have a competitive spirit. Lawson opens the show with the national anthem. When it comes time for the boys to do their tricks, they are nervous, but the crowd loves their routines. After the show, they sign autographs.
Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.
