Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Five Paine newborn photos
As promised, we have gathered Carson, Brooklyn, Everly and Holland's newborn photo with baby Finley. They were all taken by Taryn Yager Photography.
Carson had his newborn photos done shortly after his birth and we were able to share his pictures in May 2015.
Brooklyn had her newborn photos done shortly after her birth and we were able to share them in September 2016.
Everly had her newborn photos done shortly after her birth and we were able to share them in April 2018.
Holland had her newborn photos done shortly after her birth and we were able to share them in December 2019.
Finley had her newborn photos done shortly after her birth and we just recently shared them in February 2022.

Paging Paine family party of seven
We know that you all have been waiting for photos of the Paine family since welcoming their 5th child into the world. The wait is finally over.
Chad and Erin announced the birth of their daughter, Finley Marie, on January 18, 2022.

Five little Paines
We recently shared Finley's newborn photos with you all during the weekend. Today we are back with new photos of the five little ones together.
Finley is currently the youngest granddaughter and Grandchild of the Bates family.
Carson is the third grandchild and second grandson of the Bates family. Brooklyn is the fifth grandchild and the third granddaughter of the Bates family.
Everly is the eight grandchild and sixth granddaughter of the Bates family. Holland is the 12th grandchild and nineth grandchild of the Bates family.

All about Charlotte: Seven Months old

Tiffany's 23rd birthday celebration

Tiffany has revealed that she is moving to Tennessee right after the wedding. If you haven't heard their wedding, is May 12th.

John and Alyssa's youngest daughter just celebrated her first birthday on February 9th! We have birthday pictures to share.
Allie, Lexi, and Zoey celebrated their little sister's birthday. Both Alyssa and John's parents were able to be there to celebrate her 1st birthday.

Birth weight of the Five Paine Babies
On January 18th, the Paine family welcomed their 5th child into the world. You can click here to read her birth announcement.
Charles "Carson" Stephen Paine IV was born on May 14, 2015, weighing in at 6lbs.
Brooklyn Elise Paine was born on August 6, 2016, weighing in at 6lbs and 6ozs. She was the biggest Paine baby to date.
Everly Hope Paine was born on March 30, 2018, weighing in at 5lbs and 4ozs. Holland Grace Paine was born on November 26, 2019, weighing in at 5lbs and 5ozs. Finley Marie was born on January 18, 2022, weighing in at 5lbs and 4ozs.

Ten years of Bates family blog
Today marks 10 years since we started this blog.
At the beginning of our blog, the Bates had just welcomed their 19th child into the world.
We were able to share many courtship announcements.
We were able to share all the weddings that the family has had.
We were able to share all the grandbabies births.
We were able to share both of the shows United Bates of America and Bringing Up Bates.
