Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Lawson's blog: Alligators, dolphins and sting rays, oh my!
First off, I love the beach and all, but it is not cool to throw a guy in when he doesn’t have a change of clothes! But it was all in good fun and it was fun seeing the younger kids experience the ocean for the first time. Alyssa and John were generous (and crazy) to invite us all into their home at the same time. I think we got away with very minor damages to their Christmas tree ornaments. The Monster trucks were the highlight for me. What’s better than a truck big enough to hold all the Bates?!
