Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Update on Nathan Bates
We have a new update for our readers about Nathan. Just a few weeks ago, we shared that Nathan was working to get his pilot's license.
Gil and Kelly shared a very important update on their son, Nathan Bates! They said: I'm so thankful God places godly men in our paths to set an example for us! Tim Tomlinson and Scott Pauley have had such a tremendous impact on my children through Crown College, and we are grateful for their ministry! ..... And a HUGE congratulations to Nathan for completing his instructor's pilot license! We are so excited to have you back home!
