A group called Carpenters come and help the boys with expanding their church. Gil reveals that it was a struggle because of their "Bates time" when the Carpenters say 5:30 that they need to do better than their project.
The three boys are happy to be apart of the team since they will learn a lot during the progress. Jackson reveals that they got blisters and were very tired but learned a lot of lessons and it was hard work.
They get a delayed start due to some unexpected rain but actually got to put the roof and windows after six days. Nathan reveals that only 1/4 of the boys were skilled and the rest of them don't do this for a living and had to take directions from people. The carpenters leave and the family still has a lot of things to do but are extremely grateful for the progress that has been made.
Whitney brings Bradley and Kaci over to Erin's house for a play date. Erin reveals that it was hard to adjust to life with three children but it's getting easier since Carson and Brooklyn are amazing with her.
Whitney shares that baby fever hit her hard with Everly and Erin knows how it feels. Chad jokes that Baby fever is very real and scary since Erin is the one that has the baby fever.
Whitney shares that she loves seeing Kaci and Bradley growing up with their cousins. It makes them so happy. She reveals that she wants a third child however is scared.
Gil and Kelly head over to Balka's household to meet with Kelton and Michael for an engagement discussion.Gil and Kelly recently gave the couple the yellow light to move forward however Gil meant move with caution. Kelton reveals that Josie had been putting pressure on him to pop the question but he doesn't seem to mind. Kelly reveals that her daughter wants a fall wedding and not next fall so the boundaries have been set.
Kelton is hoping to pop the question under the same cover bridge that he asked her to start the courtship however Kelly gives another idea. Gil and Kelly are taking Josie on a birthday trip to Utah which is a place that she wants to visit. She wants Kelton to come and surprise her there. Kelton pulls the ring that he wants to give her and shocks her parents because he is on top of things. Kelly loves the ring. Gil and Kelly take off and Kelton is excited but nervous about planning this big event.
Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.
