Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of the children are married. They have thirty-five grandchildren with three on the way. They have two foster grandchildren.

New photo of Jeb, Lawson and Judson
The Bates are growing up very fast. Lawson has taken many photos of Jeb, Judson, and even a special guests on this post (Kaci Lynn, Tammi, Bradley, Gil and Carson). Can you believe that we started our blog a few days after Jeb's birth?
