Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of the children are married. They have thirty-six grandchildren with four on the way. They have two foster grandchildren.

I have no idea who or how many people run this blog, but I want you to know that I am very thankful for all the effort and work you put into running this blog and keeping us Bates family admirers/fans so informed about this wonderful, very large family!! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! You do a fantastic job of keeping up with the Bates family and posting so many photos and so much info to keep us informed and feeling like we're part of the family, too. I love this blog!
