Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Oh baby!
This year has been quite a busy year for the Bates family. They have welcomed five grandchildren this year.
Hailey was born on February 17, 2023 to Travis and Katie Clark.
Rhett was born on March 18, 2023 to John and Alyssa Webster.
Lily was born on August 15, 2023 to Zach and Whitney Bates.
Ryker was born on September 12, 2023 to Trace and Lydia Bates.
William was born on October 30, 2023 to Chad and Erin Paine!
