Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Charlotte's newborn photoshoot
We are so excited to share new photos of Charlotte with her family.
she is a little over three months old and you can clearly see that Kade is protective of his baby sister.

I don’t see that this 2-year old is “protective.” I see he was told to kiss his sister for the photo. Let’s not impose adult narratives on kids. It makes it harder for them to express what they're feeling. Two year olds are generally not concerned about anyone’s feelings but their own, and that’s ok!

ReplyDeleteWow, you leave three of the same comments to try to push your believe that it's not him being protective when you don't live with Bobby, Tori and the kids. How do you know that Kolter is not protective of his sister? Oh wait you don't know. So maybe your opinion is just that. Your opinion.
DeleteAs for a child with their feelings, it is okay for them to be protective of their sibling like any other child is. Most children that I have been around have expressed their feelings but don't take me by my word.
