Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Courtship announcement coming soon!
It's been a few months since we were introduce to Carlin's special friend Evan Stewart. The couple recently celebrated their first year anniversary since starting their relationship in September 2016. UP TV has a released a few promo photos of what the new season will have for us.
That's right Carlin and Evan will announce their courtship on January 4th!

It's wonderful news for your family but wow seems like the kids are leaving the nest all so close. It has to be bitter sweet. Love your show and I find it so amazing how your all so close. Sometimes in large families that isn't always the case. Merry Christmas
