Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. They have thirty grandchildren with two on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

The Bates family currently has three grandbabies birthdays and expecting a fourth one any day now.

It's time to update the October birthdays and anniversaries cover now that Travis and Katie welcomed their little boy into the world on September 29th.
Now the family is still expecting their 32nd grandchild any day when Nathan and Esther welcome their little boy into the world. The baby is due sometime this week.

All about Harvey: Introduction
A few days ago, we shared the birth announcement of Harvey Gray Clark. We are back with the introduction of All about Harvey.
Harvey was born on September 29th just nineteen days early from his October 18th due date.
He was weighed 6lbs and 4oz and was 19 inches long. He was a little bigger than his sister (Hailey) who weighed 6lbs and 1oz.

39 weeks pregnant
Esther is now 39 weeks pregnant.
We are on baby watch for Baby Boy Bates and can't wait to meet him.

Hurricane Helene
Kelly recently shared on her IG that their family is safe. The hurricane ended up missing them but was close by.
