39 weeks pregnant and Full Term

Alyssa is now 39 weeks pregnant with baby #2 which means that she is due in seven days. Today we announced the birth announcement blog which is Meet Lexi Mae! Her first official photo blog will be title Introducing Ms. Lexi Mae! We are so excited for her to arrive. The baby is consider to be full term this week and we are just one week from her due date.  

The baby is currently weighting in a bit over seven pounds. She is also about 20 inches long. She is the size of a mini-watermelon.

Do you think that we will make it to 40 weeks pregnant? 

Fun fact: When Alyssa was pregnant with Allie Jane, she was born on 40 weeks and one day pregnant.

38 weeks pregnant

We can't believe that Lexi is due in two weeks. We are still working on our birth announcement blog. 

This week the baby is considered to be early term. We just check on, January 12th, if Lexi Mae is here and she's not.

This week, She weighs about 6.8 pounds and is over 19 1/2 inches long. She is about the lenght of leek. She has firm grasp. Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.

This week, we will be starting baby watch. We did check up with the network, on Alyssa's 37th week update, if Lexi was here and she's currently not here. We ask if they would let us know when she is here and they said yes.

37 weeks pregnant!

Just three more weeks until baby Lexi arrives so that means that our weekly pregnancy updates are back!

This week the baby is maturing  it's brain and lungs to fully before being born. There is a chance that she will have about 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long in hair.

The baby is currently weighing about 6 1/3 pounds and measuring over 19 inches making her about a length of Swiss chard.

Be sure to guess when you think she will be born and how much you think she will weigh and how big she will be. Also be sure to stay tune for our baby watch which will be starting by next week. Journey to parenthood: Last Update!

John and Alyssa are just one month away from their due date with their daughter, Lexi Mae. The couple has not released any maternity photos with their daughter yet. 

It's hard to believe that next month we will be starting weekly pregnancy updates until Alyssa gives birth to baby Lexi.
We will be working on birth announcement IDEAS and posting them on our fan page so make sure that you vote on that.

We will also be starting our Baby watch when Alyssa turns 38 weeks pregnant.

John and Alyssa are currently 35 weeks pregnant with their daughter, Lexi Mae. Alyssa is due on January 27th but the baby could come at any time. We decided to start baby watch at the end of 38 weeks pregnant. 
 

34 weeks pregnant

In just two weeks, we will be starting our weekly blogs until the baby is born.  In Case that you have missed it, John and Alyssa announced their daughter's name on December 7th.

This week, the baby is 4 3/4 and is the size of a cantaloupe. The baby is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers are filling her out and making her round. Her skin is smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing. Her lungs are still maturing right now.

If Alyssa goes into pre-term labor, the baby will have no other health problems. She might need a short stay in neonatal nursery if she have short-term health issues.

John and Alyssa are due on January 27th which is a little over a month away. When do you think baby girl will arrive?

32 weeks pregnant

It's hard to believe that at the end of next month, John and Alyssa will welcome their daughter into the world.

This week the baby is 3 3/4 pounds and is the size of a large Jicama. The baby is currently about 16.7 inches long. She is taking a lot of space in Alyssa's uterus. Alyssa is gaining about a pound a week and goes to the baby. She will gain a third of her birth weight during the next seven weeks.
She now has toe nails, fingernails and hair or at least fuzz. Her skin is soft and smooth as she prepares for her birth.

In January, we will start weekly pregnancy blogs. In the next few days, we will be doing baby games.

Journey to parenthood: Two months to go

It's hard to believe that John and Alyssa will be welcoming their second daughter in the next two months. We are so excited for the couple and Allie! 

This month, we will be starting our baby games like we have done with Bradley, Allie, Carson, Kaci and Brooklyn. We will not have the Gender game though because John and Alyssa already revealed the gender of their daughter when they announced their pregnancy.

It's hard to imagine that baby Girl will be featured in our January Birthday cover next month. 

This month, we have about three more updates until we move to weekly updates and we are so excited to start them.

Bumpdate: 30 weeks pregnant

John and Alyssa have ten weeks until their January due date!
This week the baby is 15.7 inches long and weighs about 3 pounds. She is the size of a large cabbage. Her eyesight is developing right now.

Alyssa's baby Bump!

Alyssa just turned 28 weeks pregnant yesterday and shared a baby bump photo. Check out her 28th week update! 

We recently learned that John and Alyssa will not be announcing the baby's name until next season.

28 weeks pregnant

The baby is 2 1/4 pounds and is the size of a large eggplant and is about 14.8 inches. This week she is developing neurons in her brain and adding some more body fat. This week marks the start of the third trimester which means that Alyssa will be starting doctor visits every two weeks until her 36th week and then will go every week.

We have been told that the baby's name will not be revealed until the new season starts or when the baby is born.

In just three months, John and Alyssa welcome their second daughter. 

 

26 weeks pregnant

Alyssa is currently 26 weeks pregnant and almost in the third trimester. We just found out that Jessa Seewald is due about a week after Alyssa is with baby girl.

We hope to find out the baby's name in the next few weeks. What do you think the baby's name is?

Journey to parenthood: four months to go!

John and Alyssa are due to welcome their second daughter in four months. We recently announced that we are doing every two weeks pregnancy update.

John and Alyssa haven't released their daughter's name to the public just yet. Rumors are circling that her name would be Lexie Mae Webster but there is no official just yet. We will be making the name reveal as soon as it is out.
