I’ve been so used to seeing my kids each and everyday, so Alyssa’s move to Florida was a difficult and exciting transition. Not being able to walk down the hall and see her face is still an adjustment but I am so thrilled for her marriage and little baby girl to make a home for themselves. John and Alyssa welcomed us into their home with open arms (after hiding the dishes, of course!).Florida was a whirlwind of activities. From the beach to the aquarium, the whole family had a great time together. Although the little ones had a little scare with the monster trucks, we all ended the trip laughing and smiling.
I’ll always be their Mom, no matter how old my children get. Spending time together is always important, even if we have to travel clear across the country to make that happen!
Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.
