Right before Mother's Day, Lydia had her baby shower for Baby Girl. Lydia did share new photos of the celebration that we wanted to share with you all.

Two showers in one day!

On July 22nd, Trace and Lydia had their baby shower for their little man! We can't wait for him to be here.

They also had Emerson's bridal shower.

Alyssa recently had her baby shower for her 5th child that was hosted by her friends. She brought her oldest daughters (Allie and Lexi).

On December 10th, many of the Bates families and friends celebrated the upcoming birth of Hailey James Clark who is due to arrive in a few weeks.

We are just one month away from Esther's due date with baby #1. The couple recently had a baby shower. We thought that it would be wonderful to share new photos of the expectant couple as they await their daughter's safe arrival.

Shorty before Katie's successful Wedding dress shopping trip, Josie had a baby shower for baby #2.

Many of the Bates sisters were able to make the event such as Kelly, Whitney (who is due in June)  and Erin.

Josie is due in late June 2021 to welcome her second daughter into the world.

Recap: A Latte Love

Josie can’t believe what happen as they were driving away by themselves. Kelton and Josie are spending a few nights in Asheville before heading to their honeymoon. Kelton reveals that it felt incredible to wake up next to Josie.

The first day, they head to Summit Coffee Co. to learn how to make espresso. Josie is a coffee fanatic but figures out that she is not a fan of espresso. She wants espresso to have milk which means a latte. She and Kelton make latte art which means that you have to design it with milk in the espresso. The couple heads to tour a chocolate factory.

The next morning, they hike up to Chimney rock which has a breathtaking view. Kelton reveals that Asheville is a romantic location which makes for the perfect place to break in being alone.

Since Tori, Michaella, and Alyssa are still in town, they gather to throw a baby shower for Kade. They decorate the table with things that Tori can use such as shampoo bottles and diaper cakes. Bobby says a prayer before the guests eat their food.

 

Judson reveals that the boys do not like to go to showers and things like that. They rather be doing something like sports or jumping off the mountain with wingsuts.

The shower is attended by many family and friends and one of the games are drawing the cutest baby. The winner is Carlin. Bobby and Tori are challagned to guess what goes into a diaper bag. Zach reveals that there are two kinds of diaper bags. One is when you have your first kid and the second one is the one that you have with your second kid. It turns out to be an Erin bag when she claims that you need lotion that you can rub on your baby after they spit up.

Tori reveals that the baby shower was amazing and adorable. She was happy to see everyone and that they work their tails off.

B&T: Ten months of marriage

In just two months, Bobby and Tori will celebrate their first year of marriage.

This past month, they were involved with Kelton and Josie's wedding. They also had their baby shower.

As many of you know that this weekend was the wedding of Josie and Kelton however the Bates family also did Bobby and Tori's baby shower. 

The couple is due to welcome baby Kade in late November and we can't wait to meet him. On October 6, 2018, Tori gather with her sisters (Carlin, Michaella, Alyssa and Erin) and her sister-in-law Whitney and Kaci Lynn!

In a little over two months, Bobby and Tori will celebrate their first year of marriage. This past weekend, they were at Josie and Kelton's wedding and had their own baby shower.

Bates Family Blog – A Perfect Baby Shower

Before a pregnant girl reaches the point of “Dear God, just get this baby out of me,” one of the things she most looks forward to is her baby shower! In tonight’s episode of Bringing Up Bates, everyone got an inside look into mine!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love anything girly and even though I knew I was having a baby boy, I still wanted frills! Thanks to my Mom and my best friend Kelsey, that’s exactly what I got! The room was perfectly dressed with shabby chic mason jars filled with hydrangeas for centerpieces, bouquets of balloons and beautiful food I can only assume was in-part inspired by Pinterest! Side note: Where would a girl be without Pinterest?!

My mom and Kelsey did such a great job. I think when you grow up with sisters, it’s rare to find a best friend outside of the family but Kelsey and I met freshman year of college and have been best friends ever since! Her friendship is such a gift!

We all know that pregnancy sends emotions into overdrive and of course, I was no exception! It’s fair to say that I was extra sentimental and I think it’s because I knew we were celebrating this tender moment only because of God’s goodness and the prayers of so many. I was so overwhelmed by all the love that was shown to me through the gifts, words of encouragement, heart-felt cards and yes, even the chocolate! It’s amazing how quickly a pregnant girl goes from teary-eyed to totally excited as soon as she gets some chocolate! 

I hope you all have a happy 4th of July and pray that you’re all spending it with the ones you love. God bless America!

Allie's baby shower!

Alyssa had another baby shower with some of her friends and family down in Flordia. Alyssa is almost at the end of her pregnancy and only has 28 days until baby Allie is due.

Alyssa is 32 weeks pregnant with her first child. They are right about to have their baby shower!

John and Alyssa have about two months until their baby girl is due. We got an email saying that Alyssa baby shower is next week. On Thursday she will have a few more weeks. We will hopefully have some photos of the celebration.

Bringing up Bates: First episode!

Here is what we should expect on the first episode of Bringing up Bates!

Gil and Kelly Bates, and their 19 kids, are buzzing about the latest addition to their family; the first Bates grandchild! As the girls prepare to throw a huge baby shower to celebrate, Alyssa gives the family some surprising news of her own and an accident leaves the family shaken.
