Six babies on the way

We can't believe how many grandbabies are on the way! 

Lydia and Emerson are due within the next two weeks. Erin is due in the summer. Carlin is due in the summer. Josie and Tiffany are due in the winter.

May Recap

 It's time for our May recap and this month we had a big month on the blog.

The Bates family celebrated three birthdays (Carson, Warden and Erin). The family also celebrated two wedding anniversaries (Stewarts and the Websters). The family also announced the engagement of Esther Keyes and Nathan Bates.

Katie gave an update on her wedding planning. 

We are just one month away from meeting Charlotte, Jayden and Hazel. Holland and Khloe turned 18 months old while Maci turned three months old.

The Bates moms celebrated Mother's Day.

Hello 2018!

We are so excited that it's now 2018! We are so excited that this new Year will bring new grandbabies and possible weddings. We also have Courtship News which is coming soon! Bringing Up Bates is returning on January 4th!

The family is currently celebrating Gil's 53rd Birthday!

The answer is Yes. We will be updating until her second birthday.

The answer is Yes. We will be updating until her second birthday.

7. Where does Zach and Whitney live?
The couple lives in Clinton Tennessee

8. Where does Chad and Erin live?
Chad and Erin have stated that they live close to the family. It's about thirty minutes away.

9. What is the status of Carlin and Evan?
They are still in the get to know you stage!

Matching Grandbabies

Many of you know that Taryn Yager's photography has appeared on our blog many times and today is no different. 

Since Alyssa brought the girls into town for a wedding and Mama Jane bought all the grandbabies matching outfits, the family reached out to Taryn Yager to get some photos. We love these photos and were excited to share them with you all.

We just got the confirmation on June 26, 2016 that they will be! 

2. Why post information days after after the Bates do?
Because most people don't have twitter or instagram. 

3. How far apart are Bradley and Kaci?
They are only 19 months and 21 days apart.

4. How far apart will Brooklyn and Carson be?
They will be about 14 months apart

5. Will Brooklyn have a July Birthday?
Yes she will. Back when Erin announced that she was expecting her second child, we were told that the baby would be born about 35 weeks if not earlier. 

6. Did Alyssa take a break from social Media?
She did but it was only because of the hateful comments

7.  Where can we send mail to the family?
We have been getting a lot of questions about where they can send mail to the family and here is their PO box PO Box 544 Rocky Top, TN 37769 

8. Are Bobby and Tori Courting?
Bobby and Tori are not officially courting but they are boyfriend and girlfriend

9.  When will season 3 be on Amazon?
UP TV hopes to have it on Amazon by the end of this month but we will keep you updated.  

10. How far apart will Kaci and Brooklyn be? 
The girls will be around a month apart 

Memorial Day 2016

Alyssa and Whitney posted photos of their little ones celebrating Memorial Day! :) They were so cute that we could not help but share them.

Zach and Whitney took Bradley to the pool and let him enjoy some family and friends time while Alyssa and John just enjoyed time at home with their daughter, Allie.

Baby's first trip to the beach!

John and Alyssa took baby Allie to the beach yesterday to celebrate the weather that God gave today for them. John and Alyssa can't believe that their daughter is now three weeks old as of yesterday.

Kelly's blog: Bringing Up MORE Bates?!

It was a surprise to find that so many are be curious if we would like to have more children! I’m sure you can tell by now, but we would love to add to our family, if that is what God has planned for us. Each child has been a blessing and I believe the children share our excitement and love for children! It looks like that love is going to be spread to grandbabies, at present, and we are grateful God is growing our family in this way!

We so enjoyed answering questions as a family.  Although we don’t always agree on the answers, I think it’s safe to say that we had fun debating them.

And how about that baby game? I think the baby pictures brought so many memories and joy for us all, but I think we were all a little baffled trying to match names and faces!
