2023 Recap

What a busy year for the Bates family! This year came with many pregnancy and birth announcements. The family had one wedding this year.

January: Gil, Finley, Michaella, Lexi and Layla celebrated their birthdays.

February: Trace, Jeb, Maci, Tiffany, Bobby, Addallee, Jackson celebrated their birthdays. Travis and Katie welcomed their daughter into the world. Zach and Whitney announced that they are expecting their fifth child due in August 2023. John and Alyssa announced that they will be naming their baby boy Rhett Alan Webster. Brandon and Michaella announced that they have a little girl in heaven.

March: Travis, Zade, Kolter, Zoey, and Everly celebrated their birthdays. Zach and Whitney announced that they are having a baby girl. Trace and Lydia announced that they are expecting their first child due in September 2023. Jackson and Emerson are engaged. John and Alyssa welcomed their son in the world. 

April: Lydia, Allie, Carlin, Chad, Emerson, and Ellie celebrated their birthdays.Trace and Lydia announced that they are going to have a little boy.

May: Erin, Carson, Warden celebrated their birthdays. Lawson and Tiffany celebrated their first wedding anniversary. John and Alyssa celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary. Evan and Carlin celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. Chad and Erin announced that they are expecting their sixth child due in December 2023. Brandon and Michaella shared the name of their baby girl in heaven.

June: Jadon, Hazel, Kaci, and Charlotte celebrated their birthdays. Chad and Erin announced that they were going to have a baby boy.

July: Kelton, Willow, and Lawson celebrated their birthdays. Isaiah went on his first mission trip. 

August: Josie, Brooklyn, Cambree, Callie, Evan and Nathan celebrated their birthdays. Jackson and Emerson had their engagement photoshoot. Kelton and Josie announced that they were expecting their third child in early March. Zach and Whitney welcomed their daughter, Lily Jo, into the world. Chad and Erin announced their son's name will be William Gage. Trace and Lydia shared that they are going to have baby Ryker on September 12th.

September: Judson, Brandon, and Whitney celebrated their birthdays. Trace and Lydia welcomed their son, Ryker Cruise, into the world. 

October: Katie, Esther, Isaiah, Kenna, Kelly, and Bradley celebrated their birthdays. Trace and Lydia celebrated their first year anniversary. Kelton and Josie celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Nathan and Esther celebrated their anniversary. Jackson and Emerson got married on October 14th. Bobby and Tori announced that they were expecting their 5th child. Chad and Erin welcomed their son, William Gage, into the world.

November: Khloe, Alyssa, Kade, John and Holland celebrated their birthdays. Chad and Erin celebrated their anniversary.

December: Tori and Zach celebrated their birthdays. Travis and Katie celebrated their anniversary. Zach and Whitney celebrated their anniversary. Bobby and Tori celebrated their anniversary. Gil and Kelly celebrated their anniversary. Warden announced his courtship with Taylor. Lawson and Tiffany announced that they were expecting their first baby however she ended up miscarry a little bit later.

2019 Recap

It's time for our last post of 2019. The Bates family had many good moments this year that we would love to share with you all.

January-The Bates family celebrated three birthdays along with Mama Jane's birthday. They also celebrated the returned of Bringing Up Bates. They rang in the New Year.

February- The family celebrated Five birthdays along with Valentine's Day. The Balkas announced that they were expecting.

March- The family celebrated Zoey and Everly's first birthdays. Kelton and Josie announced that they are having a baby girl.

April- The family celebrated four birthdays. They also celebrated Easter. Bringing Up Bates aired it mid-season finale.

May- They family celebrated three birthdays and one anniversary. They also watched Carlin married Evan. Zach and Whitney announced that they were expecting their third child. The family celebrated Mother's Day

June- The family celebrated Khloe's third birthday and Father's Day.

July- Lawson celebrated his birthday as the family welcomed Willow Kristy into the world. They celebrated Fourth of July. Chad and Erin announced that they are expecting their fourth child.

August- The family celebrated five birthdays and one anniversary. Whitney and Erin announced their babies names. UP TV announced that Bringing Up Bates is scheduled to return in the fall.

September- The family celebrated four birthdays. Bringing Up Bates returned from their season break and will air until November 2019. Evan and Carlin announced that they were expecting their first child. Trace made a very special announcement.

October- The family celebrated four birthdays and one anniversary. Bobby and Tori announced that they were expecting their second child. Carlin and Evan announced that they were having a little girl while Bobby and Tori announced that they were having a little boy.

November- The family celebrated three birthdays as they welcomed Holland and Everly into the world. They also celebrated Thanksgiving.

December- The family celebrated two birthdays and three wedding anniversaries this month. They also celebrated Christmas.

All about Zoey: Eight months old

We have four months until Zoey's first birthday and we are so excited for her first birthday. 

This past month, she has a new cousin, Kade Smith. She recently celebrated her mother's birthday and father's birthday. She just celebrated her first Thanksgiving.

All about Lexi: 22 months old

All about Lexi has two months left after this update! We have a new photo of the sweet baby girl with her aunt and uncle.

Lexi recently welcomed a new baby cousin named Kade Smith on November 9th! She celebrated both her parents birthdays on November 9th and 21st! She recently celebrated Thanksgiving! 

2017 Recap

2017 has been a big year for the Bates family. From welcoming Grandbaby #6 into the world to Bobby and Tori getting married. So let's go through and recap.

In January, The family celebrated Gil and Michaella's birthdays. They also welcomed John and Alyssa's second daughter, Lexi Mae. Bringing Up Bates returned for a new season. Gil, Kelly and Carlin head down under for a speaking engagement. The family celebrated New Years Day.

In February, The family celebrated Trace, Jeb, Jackson, Addallee and Bobby's birthdays. Brandon and Michaella celebrated their 18th month anniversary. They celebrated Valentine's Day. We celebrated our blog anniversary.

In March, We were introduced to Carlin's special friend Evan Stewart. They also announced that there wil be a special six on Bringing Up Bates.

In April, The family celebrated Carlin, Allie, Chad and Ellie's birthdays. The family celebrated Chad's sister's wedding. Zach and Whit got photos done. They celebrated Easter.

In May, The family celebrated Erin, Carson, and Warden's birthdays. They celebrate John/Alyssa's and Mama Jane/Papa Bill's anniversary. Lawson had a special concert. They celebrated Mother's day.

In June, The family celebrated Kaci's birthday. They celebrated Father's day. Bringing Up Bates returned for their 6th season.

In July, The family celebrated Lawson and Papa Bill's birthdays. They also celebrated Fourth of July. The family moved into the new church.

In August, the family celebrated Callie, Josie, Brooklyn, Evan and Nathan's birthday. The family celebrated Brandon and Michaella's anniversary. Josie announced her relationship with Kelton. The family got to watch the eclipse.

In September, the family celebrated Judson, Brandon and Whitney's birthday. Bobby and Tori announced that they were engaged and planning a December wedding. UP TV announced that there will be a season 7. Carlin and Evan celebrated their first year anniversary.

In October, the family celebrated Katie, Isaiah, Kelly, and Bradley's birthday. Erin announced that she is expecting baby #3 due April 2018.

In November, the family celebrated John and Alyssa's birthdays. John and Alyssa announced that they were expecting their third child in April 2018. The family also celebrated Chad and Erin's anniversary. They celebrated Thanksgiving.

In December, the family celebrated Zach and Tori's birthdays. They also celebrated Bobby and Tori's wedding. They also celebrated Zach/Whitney and Gil/Kelly's anniversary. They also celebrated Christmas and New Years Eve.

All about Kaci: 17 months old

This past month, Kaci learned that she will have two new cousins Everly Hope and Zoey Joy! She also celebrated her brother's 3rd birthday. Her aunt and uncle's fourth wedding anniversary! 

She also got her first hair cut this past month.

September Recap

The Bates family has celebrated Brandon, Judson and Whitney's birthdays!

Lexi Mae celebrated her eight month milestone as Kaci celebrated her 15th month milestone while Brooklyn celebrated her 13th month milestone.

Bobby and Tori announced their engagement.

Bringing Up Bates finished Season 6 on September 14th. UP TV announced on September 27th that Bringing Up Bates has been renewed for a seventh season which will start in January 2018.

Carlin and Evan celebrated their one year anniversary. There is currently no official Courtship announcement just yet.

Nathan turns 24!

Happy 24th Birthday Nathan! 

 

Recap: Don't Worry, We've 'Goat' This!

Gil and a few of the little kids are at Chad and Erin's house. They are playing with the twin goats. Chad says that he was happy to get the goats after how Carson is reacting to the goats.
Gil and the kids end up painting the goat shed. Chad wants them to paint it with a white water based since he will paint it with a black oil based later. Chad says that the little kids did awesome with painting and it was a lot of fun.
Gil and the older boys need to redo the zip line that Nathan had connected to the shed. The shed is not very stable. Isaiah tries to help but it's hard with a cast on his arms. The family revealed that he broke two bones as he was playing softball.
Trace decides that he wants to be the first one to try the new zip line. Everyone is a little nervous that the trial run is going to end badly but it doesn't. The whole family is so excited to have a new activity outside.
Chad is turning 30 so Erin wants to plan a surprise getaway in Hot Springs, North Carolina. Granny and Grandpa are going to watch Carson and Brooklyn while they are gone.
Kelly reveals that they love getting to babysit the little ones. Kelly says that it's helpful for the couples to go out and spend time together without the kiddos.
Chad and Erin arrive at the Inn and Erin has her husband go and check in. The hostess gives Chad a tour so Erin has enough time to decorate their cottage. Erin adds the fishing poles  and fishing themes banners.

Chad jokes with his wife that she will wish that she never turned 30. The next day, the couple heads to go fishing in the rain.
Tori says that after she gets married and have kids, she will like fishing too. Carlin chips in and says you will like anything away from your kids.
The couple relaxes in the hot tub later that night in natural mineral water from the hot springs.
Gil and the kids head over to Chad and Erin's home to check on the dog and baby goats. Chad and Erin hired a pet sitter to take care of the animals. Jackson revealed Erin did not trust the family to take care of her animals. Jackson jokes that his sister trust them to take care of her kids but not her "kids".

We just got the confirmation on June 26, 2016 that they will be! 

2. Why post information days after after the Bates do?
Because most people don't have twitter or instagram. 

3. How far apart are Bradley and Kaci?
They are only 19 months and 21 days apart.

4. How far apart will Brooklyn and Carson be?
They will be about 14 months apart

5. Will Brooklyn have a July Birthday?
Yes she will. Back when Erin announced that she was expecting her second child, we were told that the baby would be born about 35 weeks if not earlier. 

6. Did Alyssa take a break from social Media?
She did but it was only because of the hateful comments
