Trace and Lydia's miscarriage story

Trace and Lydia took to their YouTube channel to announced that they had miscarried their second child.

Trace and Lydia revealed that they found out that they were expecting their second child in January 2024. Trace and Lydia told her family that she was expecting the same way that they told her family when she was pregnant with Ryker.

During the I love you day celebrations, Trace and Lydia told the Bates family that they were expecting their second child due in September 2024. In fact two days after Ryker's first birthday was Lydia's due date.

Trace and Lydia shared the name that they chose for their child, Angel Bates. They did say that they thought that this baby would have been a girl.

Zach and Whitney: Baby #3

Last week, we sadly announced that Zach and Whitney were expecting their third child and it ended in a miscarriage. The couple took to their Instagram account to give an update.
Many sweet people have been asking for an update and wanting to know if we’re planning to grow our family. The answer is we truly would love to! Our children are our greatest joys in life, and the love that they bring to our home is something that we live for.

At our vow renewal, Bradley and Kaci Lynn were so excited to be able to announce to family and friends that we were expecting our 3rd child and mommy had a baby in her belly!! ...but we soon found that God had a different plan for us.

We began our baby checkups and were very excited, but during one of our ultrasounds we discovered our baby had stopped growing. The tears started to flow and the kids could sense something was wrong. We were devastated and our hearts were shattered. Already, that little baby had changed our home, and our hearts. It’s amazing how you can love someone you’ve not met yet with all your soul and being. Our world was shaken and I suddenly had a new awareness of some of the pain so many others have experienced that have gone through similar losses. In spite of the questions and grief I had, I looked down and saw Kaci Lynn’s hand in mine. I can’t explain the love God showed me, and the peace I felt in the midst of such sadness.

Although my heart was hurting, I couldn’t help but thank God for my family and I feel so blessed to know that our third precious baby is now in his hands. I still have our positive pregnancy test on the dresser and I don’t know when or if I will ever move it. There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t think about what it would be like to have that sweet baby in our home. However, we know that God has a plan and his plans are perfect in every way, in every season of life, no matter if we understand them or not.

So many people have already been so thoughtful and encouraging to Zach and I and have touched our hearts with their own stories. We both really want to thank you for all your love, encouragement and prayers you have sent our way. God bless you all for your kindness!❤️

Chad and Erin on miscarriage and Bringing up Bates part one!

With Bringing up Bates starting this week, the viewers will have a chance to find out what happen after Chad and Erin's miscarriage.
Ok maganzie gave an interview about what to expect in their first season as Chad and Erin learn to deal with their first miscarriage and what is the difference between 19 kids and counting and Bringing up Bates.
Ok Magazine asked "For people who may not be familiar with the show yet, How would you describe it?"
Erin answered the show focuses on their family and faith. She is sure that you would see strugles and working through things. They try to build relationship and work together. You wll also see them working to get family get togethers. Plus you will see Zach, Alyssa and herself learning how to go from a busy house to an new home with just two people.
Ok Magazine asked: We learned in the first episode about the scarriage.
Erin reveals that it was hard to live through the experience and it was hard to share. They prayed about it and saw that it would be easy to use their story to help others.
Ok magazine asked: In that same episode you went to Zach and Whitney's baby shower and how did you get through it?
Erin responded that it was hard to deal with the baby shower since she was due the week before Zach and Whitney. Erin revealed that she wanted to show them that she was excited about her nephew.
Ok Maganize asked: Now that your brother and your sister are married and who do you think will be the next to start courting?
Erin thinks that it will be one of her brothers since they are the oldest available Bates and right now that there is no news about a new courtship.
Ok Maganize: How do you think that the show will change everday life for you and your family?
Erin: Her parents work hard to make sure that their family goals keep first. She did admit that the filming has brought a new time pressure and challenge to their schedule and to keep their focus on those things.
Be sure to check tomorrow's blog to see what else was said in the interview!
