First one to turn 30!

Fun fact: Chad is the first of Gil and Kelly's children and children-in-law to reach the age thirty. 

Zach,the oldest of the 19, will turn 30 in December 2018. Brandon and John will follow up right behind Zach in the fall 2019. Michaella will be soon behind that in January 2020. 

Fun fact: Chad and Erin are four years apart in age. Erin will turn 26 in a few weeks.

Fun facts about the Bates fam!

1. Katie has five letters in her first, middle and last. Her name is Katie Grace Bates.

2.  The Bates have 8 to 8 1/2 bathrooms in their home with six bedrooms.

3. Nathan is the best swimmer in the family

4.  Kelly's longest labor was 21 hours with her shortest was an hour.

5. The Bates love to play card games while they are inside of the house.

Fun Facts about the Bates

Right when Gil and Kelly started having children, they had Zach and then they had Michaella so it was not much a surprise when Zach and Whitney had Bradley and then Kaci. Now that Chad and Erin had Carson and are expecting Brooklyn into the mix really soon?! 

Did you know that the Bates actually have more children and grandchildren then the Duggars?

Fun Facts about the Bates

                     Here are some fun facts about the Bates:
                     1. Kelly Bates gave birth to all 19 of Gil and her children.
                     2. Kelly gave birth to no sets of twins.
                     3. There are 10 girls and 9 boys.
                     4. The Bates children all learn music instruments, usually piano and violin. Some of them are able to play more. They are very talented, especially Zach, Erin, and Lawson.
                     5. The Bates children also all learn how to sing.
                     6. They attend a small Baptist church called Still Waters Baptist Church.
                     7. They homeschool their children.
                     8. They are very good friends with another large family, the Duggars. The Duggars are shown on the TLC show, "19 Kids and Counting".
                    9. They will have a reality TV show on TLC in June.
                    10. Some of the older Bates kids: Zach, Nathan, and Lawson, enjoy Bluegrass music.
                    11. They have their own tree service.
                    12. The space between their children is 13 to 18 months apart.
