Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have welcomed nineteen children. Twelve of their children are married with two children engaged to be married. They have forty grandchildren with two foster grandchildren.

Visit the family!
Are you planning to visit Knoxville, Tennessee? The family pastors at Bible Baptist church which meets at Holiday Inn Express Conference Room at 111 Hillvale Road in Clinton. The church meets at 10:00am, 11:00am and 6:00pm on Sundays and then again at 7:00pm on Wednesday nights.

Kelly's blog: FAMILY CONFERENCE
What: Dr. SM Davis will visit Bible Baptist Church to host a family conference. Join us to hear topics on expectations, priorities, parenting, anger the destroyer, and more!
When: January 25-27, Sunday at 10 am, 11 am, 6 pm and on Monday & Tuesday evenings at 7pm.
Where: We will move our regular church service to a different location to accommodate guests. Services will be held at the Junior Achievement Hollingsworth Building, 2135 N. Charles G. Seviers Blvd.,Clinton, TN.
Bio: Dr. S. M. Davis has been married to Rae Jean since 1969. They are the parents of 4 daughters who with their husbands and 12 grandchildren, are all actively serving the Lord.He is the founder and director of Solve Family Problems, a DVD ministry that gives Biblical solutions to critical family problems, as well as help to foresee and avoid problems. After serving for 36 years as the Pastor of Park Meadows Baptist Church in Lincoln, Illinois, Dr. Davis became a full time conference speaker in 2012.
