Michaella opens up about Fostering

Fostering is tender and complex, beautiful and broken, heartbreaking and healing. It's often short but the love we have for these precious boys is real and deep. It is a privilege to provide a home for them and to offer love, safety, and stability in the midst of their story. They have walked through so much for such tiny little people, and stepping into a brand new world is scary and unknown.
We know they are away from everything familiar, and we feel deeply honored to be part of their healing and to show them they are treasured, and love them with all we have. We would be so grateful for your prayers for healing, peace, and comfort of knowing they are safe and cherished.

  7. You both have such a heart for this! My husband and I have fostered 45 babies over the last 15 years. We have adopted two of them because that is what was deemed best for them. We are not adoption motivated. We love every one of our babies and do everything we can to keep them safe and healthy and hopefully heal them as much as possible before they move on to permanency. Each one of them takes a piece of our hearts when they go and we grieve that loss. It helps to develop a relationship with who ever will be their caregiver and offer your ongoing support if they would be open to it.
These babies need you and I truly feel that you are special and will be the right foster parents to love and guide the. Remember to take care of yourselves as well! Use your support system. It takes a village and you certainly have one! Thank you for sharing your love!❤️

  13. So excited and happy for you both. At such a time when you needed to see the Lord move on your behalf the Lord just opened the windows iof heaven and showered you and Brandon with two wonderful bundles of Joy. This too could a comfort for mama Jane as you share these sweet babies. We will be praying if it’s Gods plan you will be able to keep them. They couldn’t ask for two better parents than you two. We love you and we’re praying.
