They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Bates grandsons update
The Bates family has seven grandsons with one on the way due in September 2023.
Bradley and Jadon were born to Zach and Whitney. Carson was born to Chad and Erin. Kade and Kolter was born to Bobby and Tori. Zade was born to Evan and Carlin. Rhett was born to John and Alyssa. Baby Boy will be born to Trace and Lydia.
