Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. They have thirty-two grandchildren. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

Mother's Day 2020
In honor of Mother's Day, we created a new Mother's Day cover now that we have welcomed Carlin and Josie as moms.
Kelly Jo celebrated her first Mother's Day in 1989. Whitney, Alyssa and Erin celebrated their first Mother's Day in 2015. Tori celebrated her first Mother's Day in 2019. Carlin and Josie celebrated their first Mother's Day this year.
