Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have welcomed nineteen children. Fourteen of their children are married. They have forty grandchildren with two foster grandchildren.

Lawson and Nathan update!
Gil and Kelly are getting ready to say goodbye to their sons, Lawson and Nathan, for a full month to the Philippines. Lawson and Nathan will be joining Jim Bob and Michelle's son Josiah on this trip.
