Kelly on Duggar/Bates friendship

Kelly Bates answered a question on the family's Instagram on regarding why the Duggar and Bates families don't appear on Counting On and Bringing Up Bates.

Both UP TV and TLC are two different networks creates some restrictions. The families are still very close friends and are always there for important events like weddings and graduations. The families also give a helping hand and are always see each other throughout the year

Erin has been playing piano at many of the weddings that the Duggar family has had. John David was in Zach's wedding in December 2013. Jana was in Michaella's wedding in August 2015. Trace was involved with Joseph's wedding in September 2017. Carlin was in Joy's wedding in May 2017.

Bradley was born during season one of Bringing Up Bates while both Carson and Allie were born in season two.

Wedding bells recap

The family is changing by their oldest daughters entering courtship. Jessa is having a hard time focusing on their family's household task. Jinger is now packing and getting things organized for their trip to visit the bates. The duggar girls decided to play a joke on Erin since Erin can't cook. The girls put a book of easy recipes, takeout menus, and smoke alarm and fire extinguisher. Jessa's boyfriend Ben and his mom head up to Tennessee since it will be Ben's first trip. Jim Bob has came up with a new way to get everyone out on time, whoever is last owes him $5.

At the Bates's house, Jessa introduce Ben to everyone. Erin takes the duggar girls aside to show them her dress since she found it on the clearance rack at the bridal shop and they had it made to be modest. Next Ben and Jessa head over to Chad and Erin's new house which is about five miles from the family. Jessa was surprised to see the master bedroom pink.

Erin talks about how it's bittersweet since she is moving out soon and won't be able to have an all night talk with her sisters. Gil tells her that she can still have sleepovers but Erin wants to make sure that Chad is fine with that. Jana says that Chad and Erin are prefect for each other.

Erin reveals that the couple had decided to wait for their first kiss on their wedding. The morning of the wedding a film crew asked Erin about what she thought about having her first kiss and she said that is why she is having her first kiss. Erin is nevrous about taking a big step in her life and asked Jana and Jill to pray with her before the wedding.

The duggar boys and bates Boys decided to car trasher like they did with Josh and Anna's car back in September 2008. The car was trash really bad by the boys putting sardiness and mothballs underneath the seat. Chad quickly gets the car ready and they head out to go to their honeymoon.

A second season?!

Reportly TLC has cancelled the United Bates of America. There is no word from TLC about this. We will keep you update!

Update on Bates Reality Show

                             The Bates reality show has been pushed back to August. There will be eight half-an-hour episodes. They are expected to start in August. The expected start date is August 13, but that has not been confirmed yet. We will update you when a date is confirmed.

"The Bates Family: And Baby Makes 19" Recap

          The special opens with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of the TLC show, "19 Kids and Counting", introducing the Bates Family to the world. The Bates Family then celebrated Alyssa's 17th Birthday with ice cream, cake, and music. The oldest Bates Girls (Erin, Alyssa, and Tori) even sang a song. To conclude Alyssa's birthday celebration, Gil and Trace took Alyssa hunting the next day. Gil and Kelly then took Alyssa along to an ultrasound appointment to find out the gender of the newest Bates. Twenty-three year old, Zach on down to two-year-old, Callie, had a prediction of what the baby would be. However, Alyssa was the only one of the Bates given the task of keeping the gender a secret from the rest of the family. She found out that the newest addition would be a boy. They then went home. Gil and Kelly then packed their bags for a camping trip to celebrate their 24th Wedding Anniversary. While they were gone, the older Bates kids helped the little ones make Welcome Home Signs and posters. Some of kids, even wrote letters. The Bates kids met up with their parents a couple days later. Gil and Kelly were greeted by their children with hugs. The next day, Kelly went to a doctor's appointment where she found out that Bates Baby #19 was on the way. The oldest Bates girls quickly gathered up the bags and met their mother at the hospital. The episode ended with Jeb Colton Bates being born on February 1st at 4:05 A.M and them bringing Jeb home. He weighed 7lbs. 8oz. and was 20 in. in length.  Jeb was born just in time for Trace's birthday.
