update on Kelly's mom

We have some sad news to share regarding Kelly's mom.

She went to the hospital with RSV. Sadly,  she got worse and passed away this morning. 

We ask for prayers for the entire Bates family as they mourn the loss of this beautiful woman. 

Five Mr. and Mrs. Bates

In early October, The Bates family celebrated the wedding of their son Trace and his new wife, Lydia. Did you know that there are only five Mr. and Mrs. Bates? Let's recap it.

Gil and Kelly got married in December 1987.

Zach and Whitney got married in December 2013.

Nathan and Esther got married in October 2021.

Lawson and Tiffany got married in May 2022.

Trace and Lydia were the recent couple to get married.

There are two sisters pregnant together.

Katie is 23 weeks pregnant while Alyssa is 19 weeks pregnant.
