New house for Carlin and Evan

Evan and Carlin are first time homeowners. Carlin did say that Evan did film a house tour that should be up this week.

Evan and Carlin have some big news to share!

They recently were able to find a new house and are currently awaiting to find out if the current owners have found a new home. 

Recap: Home Sweet Home and Nathan's Love

Bobby and Tori just brought their first home and have moved into it. They revealed that they had been looking for a while but hadn't seen much on the market. When they were able to find a place for sale, it was perfect for them since it was two houses away from Zach and Whitney. Bobby and Tori give Zach, Whitney, Michaella and Brandon a tour of their new home. While they were spending time with the couples, Tori jokes that Chad and Erin are coming up with the design and decorations. Chad is planning to add a back porch which makes Tori excited about it. She reveals to Whitney and Michaella that she had Bobby put his clothes with the boys in the large closet so she can have their closet all to her self.

It's time to celebrate Layla's first birthday by going to the Zoo. The Bates family is joining Carlin, Evan and Layla. Meanwhile John and Alyssa are busy getting ready for Maci's arrival. They have to put together the baby items. Alyssa says that you would think after three kids that they would be prepared but things have gotten a little bit more complicated than before. Alyssa also reveals that she will be having baby #4 at the hospital instead of a birth center due to monitoring of her heart.

Alyssa jokes that at the age of 40, she and John will have grown kids in college and will be able to enjoy the grandchildren. 

Meanwhile, the boys are busy building out the new retail space for the Boutique while Zach recently started to work for the tree business. Zach reveals that he would love to move around at 56 like his father instead of 33 moving around like he is right now. Carlin reveals that her dad is still the man and the hero of all of his children.

Nathan is at home and helping at the tree job. During their break, Nathan reveals an update on his relationship with Esther. He is wanting to get engaged this spring. He thinks that it's time to make the next step and make Esther's role change from girlfriend to a fiance. He hopes to pop the question in the Bahamas.

Zach and Whitney's house Update

Zach and Whitney announced in early December that they brought a new house and are remodeling right now. Whitney shared an update of the house on her instagram and facebook page.

Whitney said: So for those asking, here are a few pics of the new house reno journey so far. Several walls have been torn down, beams put in, arch built, floors taken out, new drywall, lighting, etc. including bedrooms & bathrooms..🙈😯 (what were we thinking😆) We have spent every day Zach has had off work working till close to midnight and most evenings going over to work as soon as he went off duty to get as many hours in as we could to get the job done! 🙌🏼 Getting to be by Zach’s side through every step/project in this process has yes, been quite challenging BUT brought us together so much more as a couple and taught us so much! ❤️ Buying a house was a huge step, but taking on a full reno was huge leap.. however, making this house a home TOGETHER has truly been more rewarding than we could have ever hoped for!! (even through different opinions on style or going home covered in sawdust and insulation😂) We still have the kitchen, floors, and paint left, but we finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!!🙌🏼🎉 So stay tuned!! #makingprogress #memories #ourlittlehome

Zach & Whit buy first house

With only eight days until their fourth wedding anniversary, Zach and Whitney have bought their first home. From what Zach and Whitney have both said that the house is a fixer up and they are so excited to be working together on fixing it up.

The house that they moved into right after they were married was a rental.

Recap: Stop Drop and wash

Back in November 2016, the little boys accidentally started a small fire in the Bates family laundry room. The family says that it was the most frightening ordeals that they had to walk through. The fire department shows up to give the kids some lessons about safety and help Gil and Kelly place the new smoke detectors.

The family wants to give back to the community and help fund the department, they decide to do a car wash.

Zach knows that the family doesn't know how to wash a car since they have allowed the rain to wash. Zach heads to the family home to show his brothers and sisters how to wash the car. Zach reveals his goal was to come over and assigned a specific job to them. He knew that if they had no jobs assigned then they would not get anything done. The practice ended breaking into chaos. Gil had asked for water and Zach gets his father with the hose.

Zach reveals that he would jump into the car if he did not think that his family would get him wet inside.

Zach thinks about grabbing the hose to get an advantage. The little ones end up putting a kink in it so he can't get them.

Chad and Erin know that their family is outgrowing the cottage and so they need to look for a new home. They are hoping for an older home that they can fix up. Chad reveals that they are looking to buy very soon or just wait for a few years. Both houses that the couple looked they really liked.

On the day of the car wash, it started to poured. Gil says that God is wetting all the cars. They are little bummed but Jeb offered that they pray and the rain ends up stopping after a while.

During the car wash, Evan surprises Carlin and she is super ecstatic. The car was is a big success. A few of the firefighters to help. Gil says that they got the hang of washing the cars. Bradley even got involved in the car wash.
