Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have welcomed nineteen children. Fourteen of their children are married. They have forty grandchildren with two foster grandchildren.

Bates head to Big Sandy!
Earlier this month, we shared that the Bates family would be at Big Sandy Texas for their homeschooling conference. Well this week, the conference is in full bloom.

Bates down under
As many of you know that Gil and Kelly headed down to New Zealend and Austrilla right before Lexi Mae made her big debut. They brought along Carlin for the trip and had a wonderful time.
