Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of the children are married. They have thirty-five grandchildren with three on the way. They have two foster grandchildren.

19 children and 19 grandchildren
The Bates are currently tied with their grandchildren and children. Their children range in ages 33 to 10 years old. Their last child (Jeb) was born in 2012.
The family has 19 grandchildren with one on the way. Their youngest granddaughter was born in January 2022 and their oldest grandson was born in October 2014.

Family pictures
Christmas may be over, but we have a handful of new photos to share with you all.
Chad and Erin chose to stay at a cabin for Christmas since they are very close to welcoming baby Finley into the world.
Nathan and Esther celebrated their second Christmas together. This year marked their first Christmas as husband and wife.
Lawson and Tiffany celebrated their second Christmas together. Even though the couple has not announced a wedding date, we know that next year's Christmas will mark their first one as husband and wife.
Zach and Whitney shared a new photo of their four children while sitting in Whitney's father's chair.
