Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.

21 grandchildren and counting
It's been a year since we posted 18 grandchildren and counting18 grandchildren and counting. Many grandchildren have been born and there three more on the way!
It's hard to believe in October 2014, the Bates family welcomed their first grandchild into the world.
As you can tell that the Bates family has a lot of babies in the family right now with three more on the way
Nathan and Esther are due to welcome the 22nd grandchild in just a few weeks.
Zach and Whitney have four children: Bradley (7), Kaci (6), Khloe (2), and Jadon (1)
John and Alyssa have four children: Allie (7), Lexi (5), Zoey (4), Maci (1) and they are expecting their 5th baby in April 2023.
Chad and Erin have five children: Carson (7), Brooklyn (6), Everly (4), Holland (2) and Finley (9 months old)
Bobby and Tori have four children: Kade (3), Kolter (2), Charlotte (1), Cambree (2 months old)
Evan and Carlin have two children: Layla (2) and Zade (6 months old)
Kelton and Josie have two children: Willow (3) and Hazel (1)
Nathan and Esther are due to welcome their daughter, Kenna Joy, in the coming weeks.
Travis and Katie are expecting the Bates grandchild #24 who is due in March 2024.
Three couples are expecting babies. Nathan and Esther are due in October 2022. Travis and Katie are due in March 2023. John and Alyssa are due in April 2023.
The Bates family have six grandsons Bradley (7), Carson (7), Kade (3), Kolter (2), Jadon (1), and Zade (6 months old)
The Bates family currently have 15 granddaughters with two on the way. The first cover has Allie (7), Kaci (6), Brooklyn (6), Lexi (5), Zoey (4), Everly (4), Willow (3), Kaci (2), and Holland (2).
The second cover has Layla (2), Maci (1), Hazel (1), Charlotte (1), Finley (9 months old), Cambree (2 months), Kenna (due October 2022), and Hailey (due March 2023)
John and Alyssa do not know the gender of their baby. The baby could be the Bates granddaughter #18 or Bates grandson #7.

ReplyDeleteWhy isn’t baby Cambree listed in the birthdays list. She still “due in August”. And also needs to be added on the grand babies list

DeleteWe have already added Cambree to the birthday and grandbabies list back when she was born in August 2022 so I am not sure where you are looking at.

I just rechecked the birthdays list, and grandbaby list and it’s still not there….. 🤷♀️
DeleteHi, so I just checked it again and it's still there. I have copied and pasted it Cambree Layne Smith: August 2, 2022 which I had it up there within two days after she was born on the birthdays. On the Meet the grandchildren, I have also copied and pasted it "21. Cambree Layne Smith was the twenty-first grandchild born in the Bates family. She is the daughter of Bobby and Tori Smith. She was born on August 2, 2022." which again I had it up within a week after she was born. I don't know if you are looking at another blog but rest assured that I have it on this blog.
