Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of their children have been married. One of their children are in a courtship. They have twenty-eight grandchildren with four on the way. They have four children and eight grandchildren in heaven.
This makes me sad. Now we will be drowning in movie reruns. I will miss seeing this family weekly 😢

ReplyDeleteI'm ok with it because I follow most of them on Instagram and by the time the shows were airing they were already two marriages and 3 grandkids behind.
ReplyDeleteThis was my favorite show and I've been waiting for Season 11. Just because the kids have grown doesn't mean the fans lost interest. Please bring it back. We need this kind of reality show.

This is upsetting because your family was such a blessing to so many this day and time! It seems tv is letting sins of the world take over every aspect. You were not afraid to show your spiritual beliefs and morals and apparently not everyone could agree. You will surely be missed!!

How disappointing it is that a tv network doesn't want to continue a show with real people, who have morals and values that others admire and look up too. You have been such a blessing to me and I am encouraged by your family daily through Instagram. UPtv, you can't possibly do any better programming than the Bates family. Shame on them. Praying for God's blessings on the Bates family in all future endeavors. Hoping another network will pick you up. God bless.

It was so nice to be able to sit down and not only watch and enjoy, but learn and respect and even learn from this family. They’ve been such a positive influence on our world…. This tv show is wholesome and brings so many of us joy and laughter…

I know that they couldn't film forever but to end so suddenly was not a good idea. I think UPTV could have announced this was the las season and ended it with Lawson's wedding. I only say that because every season the family would tease the older boys about never getting married, especially Lawson. This was one of my favorite shows and I will miss it. I hope that I can continue to see everyone on YouTube (at least the ones who have it).
