Katie's turning 20 and celebrating her special day with Travis; Katie, Travis, Gil, Kelly Jo, Lawson, Isaiah and some of the younger kids head to the Smoky Mountains for some outdoor birthday fun.
Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have welcomed nineteen children. Twelve of their children are married with two children engaged to be married. They have forty grandchildren with two foster grandchildren.
