Recap: The best is yet to come

Tori, Carlin and Josie are getting all dress up for their tripe date with Bobby, Kelton and Evan. Callie says that it takes her sisters like two years to get ready.

The boys arrive and present the girls with flowers before heading downtown Knoxville. Josie reveals that Kelton has lived in Knoxville for some time and knows many of the cool places. She also adds that they haven't gotten around much.

Gil and Kelly reveal that the three couples don't need a chaperone for this tripe date because they trust them to do the right thing. It's the parent's goal to help them be safe and happy for the future. Kelly thinks that the girl's hearts are in the relationships and that's important.

Gil adds that if he did not think that they have the right heart motive that they wouldn't be going on the tripe date or any date at all.

The boys are all twenty-two years old and take the girls to the Blue Coast Grill and Bar for a meal. During the date, Evan and Kelton asked when Bobby is planning to propose. He laughs it off and he does have the ring on him. He shows it to Kelton and explains that he told the family to be ready in case if he decides to get down on one knee during the date.

After the meal, the couples go for a walk and Taryn Yager appears to do a photoshoot. Tori thinks that who would invite a photographer unless something is going to happen.

Bobby decides that it's not right enough to pop the question. Bobby meets with Gil and Kelly. Bobby and Kelly are super ready for it to happen while Gil thinks that he is in no hurry and would be fine to wait for another year.

Bobby and Kelton meet up at the Disc Golf course with Kelton to talk about the conversation.
The girls sit down to study but the topic changes to engagement. Carlin thinks that Josie and Kelton could be married before she and Evan do but Josie doesn't agree since they are taking it slow.

Lawson, Whitney, and Zach are talking about the complexity of the Bates proposals and the bar is being set higher. Zach says that they are more proposing to the family since they are coming. You are not going to shake them free even a bad proposal isn't going to run off the family.

It's the big day and Bobby and his parents arrive at the college to surprise Tori. It's successful and Erin and Carlin pull their sister into a room to do her hair and makeup.

The couple and his parents jump into the car and head to North Carolina. Meanwhile Gil and Kelly pick up the food at Louise's Kitchen. They set up a picnic at the Linville Falls and wait for everyone else to arrive at the location.

Gil and Kelly head to Wiseman's View where they set up the rose pedals, candles and flowers. The couple and Bobby's parents arrive. Bobby's mother sneaks ahead and places the ring next to the flowers. Tori starts seeing the rose pedals as they walk down the steps to overlook. Bobby is starting to get a little nervous.

They make it to the location of the proposal and it takes a few minutes to find the ring. He finds the ring and grabs Tori's hands and tells her how much he loves her. He asks her to marry him and she says yes. The couple hugs as the parents cheer from a distance before coming over to congratulate the couple.

Tori reveals that it's weird when she looks at the ring. Gil jokes that he can take it off and let her wait for a few more years.

“It was an absolute perfect day, and I could not have asked for anything better,” says Tori.

  1. Do you know anything about Nathan being in a courtship? Supposedly he said something about it on the FB live chat.
