Today marks a special day for the Bates family!
Not only are they celebrating the New Year but they are also celebrating Gil's birthday!
So much has changed for Gil this year!
* He becomes a grandfather for the second time when John and Alyssa welcome baby Allie Jane into the world on April 11th!
* He later becomes a grandfather for a third time when Chad and Erin welcome baby Carson into the world on May 14th!
* He watched his oldest daughter Michaella get married to Brandon on August 15th!
* This year, they are expecting their 4th grandchild due in 2016!
