Bates sisters Boutique

We have an update about Carlin and Whitney's business. They are planning to close on October 16th.

This isn’t an easy post to write, but it comes with so much gratitude for the memories we’ve made and the people we’ve met. Family has always been at the heart of everything we do, and as that focus grows, it’s time for us to share an important update.

We started Bates Sisters Boutique as sisters just looking for something fun to do together on the weekends and never dreamed it would grow the way it did. From the back room of Zach and Whitney’s house to our little storefront in Rocky Top, it’s been such an exciting journey. We’ve learned so much, laughed a lot, and made memories that will always mean the world to us.

We’ve been so blessed to meet so many of you at our cash and carry events and to serve even more of you through our online store. As our lease in Rocky Top comes to an end, we’ve had a lot of talks about what the future looks like for both our families and for the boutique.

Life has gotten busier, our kids have grown, and the time we’ve been able to give to the business has slowly become less and less. While we’ve been blessed with an amazing management team, our vision was always more than just having a business, and we feel that we are no longer able to provide the personal touch that we wanted to share through our boutique.

This wasn’t a decision made lightly, but one made with peace and so much gratitude for this season. With full hearts and the sweetest memories, we’ve made the decision to close the boutique when our lease is up in November.

Thank you for loving us, for shopping with us, and for being such an encouragement through every step of this journey. We love you all and are so thankful for every memory made along the way.

In case you missed the exciting news, there are four grandbabies on the way! 

Kelton and Josie are due to welcome their fourth baby in December 2025.

Lawson and Tiffany are expecting their second baby in December 2025.

Zach and Whitney are due to welcome their sixth child in the spring 2026.

Bobby and Tori just announced that they are expecting their sixth child due in March 2026.

GrandBates born in October

1. Kenna Bates is the daughter of Nathan and Esther Bates. Her birthday is on October 17th.

2. William Paine is the son of Chad and Erin Paine. His birthday is on October 30th.

3. Graham Bates is the son of Nathan and Esther Bates. His birthday is on October 4th.

4. Bradley Bates is the son of Zach and Whitney Bates. His birthday is on October 29th.
