Five Mrs. Bates coming soon

Three out of the five ladies have officially said I do and now the Bates family have two more ladies about to join the family. 

Kelly was the first one to join the family when she and Gil said I do in December 1987. 

Whitney was the second one to join the family when she and Zach got married in December 2013. 

Esther was the third one to join the family when she and Nathan got married in October 2021. 

Tiffany will soon join the family in the coming weeks when she and Lawson get married in May 2022. 

Lydia will soon join the family when she and Trace gets married in the coming months. 

All about Zade: One month old

We have new photos of Allie Jane as she celebrates her seventh birthday at her birthday party and photos that her grandparents share for her birthday.

Lydia's birthday pictures

The Bates just celebrated their future daughter-in-law's birthday on April 10th and share new photos of her and Trace.

Fun fact about Lydia: She is a photographer like Chad. They both took photos of the family before starting a relationship with one of the children.

We can't wait to see when their wedding day is and what her dress looks like.

May birthdays and anniversaries cover

This month, we decided to do something different with our May Birthdays and anniversaries cover. As many of you know that Lawson and Tiffany will be getting married next month. 

The Bates family will celebrate Erin, Carson and Warden's birthdays.

Let's talk about anniversaries! John and Alyssa got married in 2014 and will be celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary. Evan and Carlin got married in 2019 and will celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary. Lawson and Tiffany will say I do on May 12th.

11 engagement and counting

Since starting the blog, we have shared engagement news for most of the Bates children once it's release.

This past year, the Bates had four children getting engaged! Two of them have gotten married and one is about to get married. 

Now if Trace and Lydia get married before October 2022, the Bates will have had four children married in a 12-month timeframe.

Trace and Lydia engagement photos

On March 31st, we announced that Trace and Lydia were engaged to be married. Trace went on to his Instagram to share the real proposal. The couple actually got engaged on March 21, 2022. Trace revealed that he wanted to surprise her and that he had someone call and "hire" her to take some photos on a rooftop. Since he knew that she would be in her work clothes, he had brought her an extra outfit so they can take photos.
