Welcome to the Bates family blog! Gil and Kelly have been married since 1987 and have nineteen children. Twelve of the children are married. They have thirty-three grandchildren with five on the way. They have two foster grandchildren.

Layla Rae is here
We are so excited to share that Evan and Carlin have welcome their daughter into the world.
Layla Rae was born at 3:56pm on Friday, weighing 5 pounds and 13 ounces and measuring 18 inches long.
